$2.5 Million Sexual Harassment Settlement
Six former and current female corrections officers at Los Lunas prison were the victims of sexual harassment and discrimination by 23 male guards. The state of New Mexico agreed to pay $2.5 million to the corrections officers in a settlement.

A New Mexico man was arrested after a routine traffic stop on suspicion of drug possession. He was detained for 14 hours and was forced to submit to enemas, probes and a colonoscopy.
